St. John & Associates, Inc. has provided a wide range of professional engineering services to clients throughout the state. A partial list of our projects is given below.
St. John and Associates New Building
On April 27, 2011, an EF4 tornado tore through Cullman causing extensive destruction to the downtown historic district. The SJA building was among those that suffered severe damage from the storm. SJA moved to a temporary office and began work with architects to develop plans for a new building at the original downtown site. The proposed 4000 square foot office building will feature Insulated Concrete Form construction, hydronic radiant floor heat with locally made Rehau tubing, and a historically accurate brick façade.
Barber Motor Sports Park
SJA provided civil engineering and design for the entire campus at BMP. We prepared plans for the track, paddock, access roads, museum and all other buildings and development at the site. We also have designed upgrades and safety improvements to the race track.
Duck River Dam
SJA is the owner’s representative to the Utilities Board of the City of Cullman for the Duck River Dam project. This project will create a new reservoir to meet the needs of Cullman County for many years to come. We are also the design engineers for the pipeline, roadway improvements and the recreation plan for the project.
Jack’s Restaurants
SJA has designed site plans for Jack’s Restaurants in locations across Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee.
Cullman Industrial Park V Access Road
SJA designed the access roadway that serves the new Royal Technologies plant for the City of Cullman.
Cullman Regional Medical Center
SJA designed the original site plan for CRMC and has provided engineering and planning for each of the Professional Buildings and expansions on the campus.
Wyn Cliff Pointe Subdivision
SJA designed and planned the utilities, layout and all civil features at this garden home subdivision in Cullman.
Cobblestone & Derby Creek Subdivisions
St. John & Associates designed these residential subdivisions which comprise over 100 lots. The project included lot layout design, roads, water and over one mile of sanitary sewer
West Main Avenue Cullman
SJA planned and designed the widening and upgrade of this critical roadway in the City of Cullman.
Sportsman Lake Park, Cullman County
SJA designed paved walking trails and dirt mountain bike/walking trails throughout SLP for the Cullman County Commission.
Topre America Coporation
SJA designed the site plans for Topre America’s auto parts manufacturing plant in Cullman, Alabama. SJA also provided all of the civil engineering services for the recently announced $109 million expansion to the Cullman plant.
